Andrea Millar, RLP®, CSA, CFLA, CPA/PFS is the Founder of Andrea Millar Life Planning (andreamillarlifeplanning.com). She spent decades in the CPA and financial planning professions before tragic events woke her up and sent her on the path of seeking more meaning and fulfillment in her life. She now coaches busy business owners and professionals to let go of what isn’t working so that they can reclaim what is most important in their lives. Most of her clients are CPAs, financial planners, and their clients. She holds the Registered Life Planner (RLP®) credential from the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, CFLA coaching credential from the Fearless Living Institute, Certified Sparketype Advisor (CSA) credential from The Good Life Project, and is currently studying with the Academy for Coaching Excellence.
Andrea is the Immediate Past Director of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Planning Division. Her responsibilities included working with AICPA leadership and the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Executive and PFS Credential Committees to drive initiatives on behalf of AICPA members who provide tax, estate, retirement, investment and risk management planning to individuals, families, and business owners.
Prior to joining AICPA, Andrea spent most of her career in the Personal Financial Planning Division at KPMG, LLP. She focused on ensuring her individual clients and their closely held entities needs were met in the areas of tax, estate, retirement, risk management, and investment planning. Andrea received her degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and holds her CPA license in the states of North Carolina and Virginia. She also holds the AICPA's Personal Financial Specialist credential.
